Ok, I willβ¦and I have!
I created The M.A.D.E. Diet close to 8 years ago. It was a bit unorthodox because of the higher fat and lower carb compared to the Standard American Diet. Not too high or lowβ¦just more balanced than the S.A.D.
I went to get a Dexa Scan today (as I do periodically for the past 6 years) and I was honestly a bit worried. I was way more lax than normal from Thanksgiving to April. It was just going to be through the holidays but I couldnβt get myself back on trackβ¦been there??? Sometimes itβs really tough!
I still worked out religiously (100% at home unless traveling) and I didnβt eat really bad, just quite a bit more with a few more treats and alcohol.
I continued to intermittently fast because itβs now in my DNA because of the length of time Iβve done it but also because I know how cRaZY good it is for me (regardless of lifestyle).
I will share with you the details of my results but let me just say thisβ¦I was very surprised (in a good way).
Iβm 48 and keep waiting for this age thing to get the better of me but not yetβ¦not yet! Iβm still keeping that fat (especially visceral fat) low, and the muscle gain up.
These home workouts and my diet must be working! π€© I Would love to share it with YOU!

But I also know that some of you appreciate a gentle yet honest dose of tough love now and then. So, here it is β always delivered with love and care! β€οΈ
Listen closely, because this is important: your body is a remarkable gift, and itβs easy to take it for grantedβthinking itβs an unbreakable machine. The truth is, itβs not. Your body is a finely tuned instrument that deserves your respect, kindness, and attention.
Pushing it to the limit with sedation, dehydration, sleepless nights, or a diet lacking in nutrients may seem manageable now, but your body is quietly keeping score. Every bit of neglect chips away at its resilience, and one day, that neglect could catch up with you. When that day arrives, you'll wish you'd appreciated and cared for this incredible vessel you carry through life.
Itβs time to wake up and face reality: your body isnβt an endless source of strength and vitality. It has limits, and respecting those limits is a sign of wisdom and self-love. Start showing gratitude β hydrate well, nourish generously, rest sufficiently, and treat yourself with the kindness you truly deserve.
Take a moment, look in the mirror, and ask yourself: are you willing to gamble with the only body you'll ever have? Or are you ready to step up and take responsibility for your own well-being? The choice is yours, but remember this β neglect now, and your body may not be able to recover la

We went out the next day and have been inseparable since.
We moved to Arizona together in 1992.
We got married in 1994.
We had Tanner in 1995.
We had Taylor in 1996.
We almost divorced in 1998β¦.like ALMOST!
Moved to Hawaii in 1999.
Moved to Texas in 2006.
Started a little biz in 2008.
Worked hard raising kids and businesses.
Life has been fun, challenging, unpredictable, and surprising but worth every minute!
Thank you, Mick, for asking me out while βcruisingβ Riverside 32 years ago. I could NOT imagine a more adventurous life without you!β€οΈ
