IT’S GONE, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!! 😢 We absolutely loved this piece and our clients were thrilled to finally have it in their dining room, right next to the extending dining table that we built for them last year, which was also made from white oak 😍

A PROFESSIONAL MAKER? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ This is becoming a somewhat popular topic amongst this community and one that @davecullenjoinery and I want to dive head first in to ⬇️

For many years now there’s been the Hobbyists or Makers (those who are self taught and or just love to makes things on the side at the weekend or in the evenings) and then there’s been the Pros and Trades (those who have trained, been apprentices, gone to college etc and do it full time) but there’s an increasing number of Hobbyist Makers turning Pro because, well simply put, they have the talent, the drive and love what they do. So why not make a career out of it?

But there’s a stigma forming with all these differences of backgrounds and differing opinions. Some say “There isn’t room for Hobbyists or Makers in their garages, they’re taking all our work”! (I work in a garage 🙈😂) Others say “There’s plenty of room and work for all, if you’re good at what you do, what does it matter how you got there”! I agree with the latter personally but I’d love to know what your guys thoughts are on the matter. Comment below your thoughts, it’s all open here, no judgement 😍

All I say is there should be respect for all, inspire others and help others where needed and boost folk when they need boosting 🤙🏻
