I had the chance to meet @danmartell the author of Buy Back Your Time and my coach, and what hit me most was this: if you’re the bottleneck in your business, you can’t be the breakthrough.
Your business should serve your life—not the other way around.
Dan teaches founders how to reclaim their time by building systems, hiring the right people, and focusing only on the work that lights them up. And it’s not about stepping away—it’s about stepping into your highest value role while letting go of everything else.
That’s how you grow. That’s how you scale. That’s how you actually enjoy the life you’ve been working so hard to build.
For me, running a mortgage business across multiple states, this hit deep. I don’t want to just close more loans—I want to create more impact, more freedom, and more time with my family while building something that lasts.
So here’s the reminder for anyone reading this: stop glorifying busy. Start designing your life. If you don’t take control of your time, someone else will.
Freedom isn’t about grinding harder. It’s about buying back your time.
