Med School/ Life MEGA UPDATE
1) STEP 1
The past few months I had been preparing for STEP. The best way to describe the experience is as a rollercoaster. There were great days where I felt confident and amazing and other days where I was literally down in the dumps. This was an entirely different academic experience for me because of how hard the test was but we found a way and PASSED š. If you would like a more detailed video about my experience let me know in the comments.
2) A lot of family and friends time
With STEP being a stressful experience, I tried to make sure to spend more time with friends and family who were a necessary part of my test prep process. I am very thankful to everyone who talked/helped me along the way because it truly made a huge help.
3) Reflection and Slowing Down
The last few months were a whirlwind for both my school and personal life so since taking my exam I have really been making a concerted effort to rest and reflect on how things are going and how I can grow from these experiences! This time has been so valuable and I am grateful to have it.
4) ROTATIONS START IN JANUARY
I will be starting on surgery and my first rotation will be TRAUMA. I am excited and nervous but also just ready to start learning hands on instead of from a book!
