P.A.G.A.N (or Pure Acid Gabba And Noise) was the alias used by Jason Phillips during 1990’s when he released hardcore techno, gabber, speedcore, drum & bass and breaks releases on various 12 inchs, albums & mix CD’s.
P.A.G.A.N. was born in South East London, England and musical tastes began in the early 80’s through hip hop, breakdance & electro, to the early rave and techno scene, thru mid 90’s trip hop, jungle & DnB era & all the way to the electronic scene as it is today.
NosaJ (his more chilled alias) is now living in North Yorkshire where the slower pace of life and ambience have started to mellow him (just a bit!) and his new album reflects a deeper more introspective take on modern lo-fi bass music
