I was born in a small coastal town where the wind always smelled like salt and the days felt longer than anywhere else. Growing up, I was the kind of kid who couldn’t sit still -I climbed trees, ran along the shore, and spent hours staring at the horizon, convinced there was something bigger waiting for me out there.
