23In Atlanta, I moved into my own two-bedroom with a walkout. I bought my first real pieces of furniture and created my first cohesive “vibe” throughout an apartment.
Back up to Massachusetts and into my mom’s in-law suite 500 sq ft became my little sanctuary! I kept my best pieces from Atlanta and sold the rest. I love a good clean-out. This place was such a cozy little vibe once we threw a fresh coat of white on the walls.
In 2024, I got married and moved to Manhattan! Dalton and I combined the best pieces from our collections over the years and invested in a top-tier mattress and new bedroom pieces. It was the first time I styled a home for two and the first time I bought pieces with “forever” in mind.
In 2025, we moved to Nashville 🤍 We brought everything! All of our forever pieces work anywhere… that’s the point. But we suddenly had a lot more square footage to fill! Our master bedroom furniture moved to the main guestroom, and I styled a new master bedroom just for us.
I’ve found it to be true that when you take care of where you live, you end up moving to better and better places… but without ever feeling like you HAVE to move to escape where you are.

The first place I lived on my own was the in-law suite at my dad’s lake house. Though older and jury-rigged, I bought plants and thrifted furniture from family to make it as beautiful as I could on my college budget.
