Bimini experience w/ @vfocus_photography & @uniq_miami

I’m definitely not that person anymore & realized all the growth I’ve accomplished both physically & mentally! 😊
In January of 2019 I decided enough was enough and I needed to take my physical & mental health more serious. I started this journey weighing at 210 pounds. Fast forward to 2022 and I’m currently weighing in at 145 pounds!!
I hope this post can motivate anyone out there who has a new year resolution to better themselves! We all start somewhere. There has been so much trial and error on this journey but the most important part is to continue showing out for yourself! Your body is a temple & you deserve nothing but the absolute best! 🙏🏼

These past few months have been so hard on my mental health & self love, I’ve had a lot of events happen in my personal life that have just torn me apart on the inside. My anxiety has been constant. I’ve been feeling low and I’ve been trying my hardest to push through.
I’ve completely lost sight of my self worth & self love. I’d look in the mirror and pick out everything I found wrong with myself. I started to hate taking photos of myself, I stopped creating content. On the days that I tried to create I would look at the photos and just stare at them pointing out everything that I found “wrong” in my eyes, I was self destructing.
I know I post my body all over the internet, it doesn’t mean that I’m truly happy with myself.
Looking in the mirror has become so toxic. Staring at my cellulite, stretch marks & acne, I’ve become so insecure. My relationship with food has been terrible. If I ate something unhealthy I would immediately regret it & end up not eating anything to make myself feel better or I would start crying, feeling so guilty that I ate something so unhealthy. I’m very aware how bad not eating is but I didn’t care.
The entire point of this post is a reminder to everyone that there is more than meets the eye. Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. We can all post what an amazing life that we want to show the world but there is so

Honestly it has taken me a very long time to open up about my fitness journey because I’ve been so embarrassed that I allowed myself to get to such a low point in my life. I was in a bad head space and was using food as a coping mechanism. This was giving me short term joy but in the long run it often lead to guilt & regret causing me to have more negative feelings.
I’m definitely not that person anymore & realized all the growth I’ve accomplished both physically & mentally! 😊
