I'd Never Seen Waves Like This Before - Sessions Vol 04 - "Deep Calls to Deep" by Thurston

I find languages to be absolutely fascinating. Itâs totally possible for someone to be giving me the most profound wisdom or advice I could ever hear but if they were speaking in a foreign language, I wouldnât receive any of it. If you ask me, light and water can seem to have a language of its own sometimes, and just because we may not understand it, it doesnât mean itâs not imparting an important message to us.
It is written, âWe know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.â
âJesus responded, âListen to me. If my followers were silenced, the very stones would break forth with praises!â Thatâs a wild statement. What would we do if the stones started singing, and what would they say? And if they did speak of wisdom beyond this world, would we still have hope? Or would we just misunderstand, being limited to justifying what can be, purely by what is đ§ #thoughts

When I first began to slow the ocean down using my camera, i realised that light and water is the original and the most artistic expression that has ever existed.
âThe earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, âLet there be lightâ; and there was light.â
I canât even comprehend what that would have looked like, no one can, itâs only accessible by faith. But, it says there was water, there was light and there was an artist with spirit, life force and creative capacity. Acknowledging those few things was my first revelation that allowed me to access creative purpose and find my flow. âFor we are His workmanshipâ, created to create, made to not only express ourselves through artistry but to find ourselves through artistry. To wonder and imagine a new thing and then manifest it through dedication to our craft. When we create, we discover meaning, and we unravel our unique and individually assigned divine purpose.
This idea is not necessarily biblically based but I wonder if perhaps God began creating things to establish His own purpose.. I just know that having been made in Gods image and likeness, I for one, find meaning, and intimate reason for my existence through the unified work of my hands, mind, soul and imagination.

âItâs not an âSâ, on my world it means hope.â

Appreciation post. Mates matter. Iâve mentioned this in the past, but want to expand on that idea of just how important relationships are. You can amass all the fortune and fame that the world can offer, but without, friends, family, or loved ones to share it with, itâs void of happiness. We are designed for connection. Thereâs truly nothing that can complete our human experience more than sharing an experience, an achievement or even a hardship with another human being.
Iâm grateful to have some incredible friends, and family that have supported me and championed me on in ways that iâll be eternally thankful for, and this post is just a quick shoutout to all of them, you know who you all are, and youâre dearly cherished.
