14It’s been a journey, but we’re barely getting our feet wet.
Countless hours & many different coaches have helped me get to this point and I’m forever grateful for each and everyone of them.
I wasn’t expecting to get promoted coach Jesse had just told me to be on the mats so I thought to myself (I’m gonna be the mat enforcer) to just put the guys that are getting promoted through the ringer. I had accepted my role and had started to carry the “I don’t need a belt” mentality, but damn it feels good to finally be able to call myself a BLUE BELT. I hadn’t felt this feeling since getting my black belt in karate and getting that belt wrapped around my waist is a feeling few know.
I’m proud and extremely grateful to be under the tutelage of coach Jesse.
Jesse has been the secret weapon behind my jujitsu and over the past year he’s been getting more and more involved in my fight camps. He helped me prepare and game plan against a “black belt killer” and we completely shut him down along with the rest of the wrestlers and grapplers I face.
No one trains the way we do and no coach holds a higher standard than Jesse. Y’all will continue to see my ground game evolve and will continue to see this team dominate at every level.

8 years in the making.
