For me..This moment existed in my mind since i was a kid. But like a Kodak picture it took time in the dark to develop…Day after day. Struggle after struggle. Mix after mix… it all led to this moment of pure joy.
To every intern/assistant/artist/writer/producer/engineer/AnR… They won’t see it at first. They’re not supposed to. Prepare to go unrecognized. Prepare to go alone. Prepare to go even if you’re scared. JUST GO‼️ It’s YOUR vision. It’s up to YOU to see it through. Move with faith. Keep your spirit pure. Do every little thing in an excellent way. I promise you..

47In 2015 my main job was to open the door and get R Thomas (expeditiously) at 2AM for these guys….
I used to imagine myself mixing what was coming out of that control room everyday. I would watch these legendary engineers and producers and ask a million questions. (I still do)
To all my creative peers no matter where you are in your journey, I hope this inspires you to KEEP GOING. IT’S POSSIBLE 🙏🏽

I’m normally the type to mix something and keep it moving, but this one hit home for me.
