I’ve dreaded this for as long as I can remember. Losing my mother was my biggest fear. I cried many times as a child thinking about it and I cried constantly facing the reality of losing her this last year. I’ve always faced pain with blocking it out. This is the first time I’m allowing myself to just feel because I don’t want to forget anything about her.

Mom, I would do anything to be able to help you with your simple Ipad and iphone questions again. To try your amazing homemade salad dressing again. And to eat shabu shabu with you one more time and have coffee and ice cream afterwards. I will never forget how much you loved coffee with your dessert.

But I know I’m being selfish. You did more than enough in this life and did so much good. You can let it all go now. No more worries and no more pain. I will take care of everything from here. I hope that your next life is a happy one. You deserve it and I know with all the happiness and love you gave in this life, that karma will flow with you.
