I ended up supporting with 45 cases, including a couple last December.

Rescue is messy. Itās political. Thereās a lot of broken systems and volunteers fighting nonstop to fix it. Itāll break your heart then put it back together and then break it again.
There were dogs we were too late for.
Abuse cases that left me crying for days completely speechless and angry at humanity.
Lost dogs reunited with their families.
Dogs hit by cars and left behind.
Late nights building trust.
Dogs that are learning what love means again in foster homes.
Lots of poop, lots of vet bills, lots of zoomies.
Dogs that found their forever homes.
Each name carries a story.
š¶ Romeo, Jules, Miley, Nix, Mama Mia & her 9 puppies, Honey, Alfie, Buddy, Hammy, Juno, Venus, Talia, Ophelia, Bella, Kimmy, Boone, Bruce, Kitty, Hazel, Ollie, Angel, Missy, Zuko, The list goes onā¦.
Most of these dogs were taken on, funded, and carried by local Austin rescues. I wouldnāt be able to do any of this, and share these pups stories without them.
Iām grateful to stand in partnership with them, and learn from them.
Many rescues carry thousands in vet bills every single month and are always in need of fosters, adopters, and support.

It was May 13th of 2020, 3:45 am in a Cincinnati Ohio hospital and my whole world stoppedā¦ āØāØmachines beeping āØdoctors yelling āØmy mom screaming āØmy dad bowing his head āØāØmy heart brokenā¦ as my little sister surrendered to her cancer and gained her wingsā¦ šš¼š¼
