He shared how he heard the horror stories of how bad the concentration camps in North Korea were and the poor treatment a lot them go through on a daily basis.

It helps me keep things in perspective when I worry about things like money, relationships, my future and other things when there are people who wake up knowing that they might not be able to live the next day and have to do whatever it takes to just survive.

That's why he donates 38% of his profits to organizations like @libertyinnorthkorea who are helping North Korean refugees escape for good from places like China where they risked their lives to escape but they still live in fear of being caught.

Nick and I aren't more special than anyone else, and I hope those of you reading know that you have the power to change and even save someone's life.

It doesn't have to be anything big and can be something as simple as saying a kind word to someone, reaching out to someone you know is lonely or going through a hard time, or just opening up your heart to connect with a family member or friend you haven't connected with in a long time.

βYou canβt connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something β your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This art was made by a series of bottle caps connected together at the Broad Museum in DTLA. Sometimes our life is like that, a series of events that in the end connect and lead to something bigger than we could've imagined. It might not make sense now what you're going through or why, but trust that the people you're meeting, what you're going through will all connect and make sense in the end. .
