The Ukrainian Deputy Energy Minister, Oleksandr Heylo, has been detained for allegedly accepting a $500,000 bribe. Ukrainian security services reported that Heylo, along with three accomplices, was caught while receiving the third installment of the bribe, which was linked to a promise to transfer mining equipment from the frontline Donetsk Region to state-owned enterprises in the Lviv-Volynskyy coal basin.
