A message I received when trying to raise money for Linkme when we first started.
I was self funding the app at this point. Every dollar I made, went to Linkme.
I’m not a hater, but don’t let people like this stop you.
After this text, we did some research about valuations in the app world and decided a $10m valuation was too little. We then launched our first round and raised $800k on a $20m valuation!
Fast forward to 2023, we have raised over $3 million and our last round was on a $60 million valuation.
Anyone know where I can sell a kidney 🤣
