This old, beaten-up thing is goofy and doesn’t play very well at all. But I love the angled bell that allows you to just mow down everything in your path with raw, unadulterated bass.

Ken Friedrich: “Three Euphantasies”

It’s been a good while since I’ve done something this intense on euphonium. And the worst part? This is one of the easier technical sections of the piece.
