Today due to a lot of chop (yes a lot) we only got 2 wins out of the 6 trades.
This means we closed the day with -$500 or -1R (on my 50Ks).
With that being said...
If you ask me a 33% win rate on a day as bad as today is quite good.
Especially considering it was just -1R and not a blown account.

My new strategy isn't PERFECT.

+$500 on my PAs today i spent a lot of time backtesting & researching how my strategy performed on FOMC & other high-impact red folder news days. my conclusion was that it generally does quite well on FOMC, but due to the losses earlier this week I decided to keep it light with half risk. +0.5R on both of my PAs. i just need 5R over the next 10 trading days to withdraw $4,000 profit ($2K per PA). then things will get interesting. Results: 3 wins 3 losses ~$250 net profit per account at half risk.
