Shaan Arora

Shaan Arora is an American technology entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Alia, a Shopify pop-up and engagement platform. He co-founded it in April 2023 with Cory Gill and Bill Wohlers while at Northeastern University and built it without outside venture capital. Alia grew to serve over 5,000 Shopify merchants, with over half a billion monthly pop-up views and more than $13M in annual recurring revenue, before he sold it to Dotdigital for up to $60M in March 2026. Based in New York City.
