Nicholas Santora also known as his social media handle @SHAOLINSFUNNYGUY. Santora is an up and coming comedian from Staten Island, New York. At a young age his life was the furthest from a comedy growing up on the south shore of Staten Island. On Halloween night when he was 7 years old his father suffered a heart attack that would leave him brain damaged and unable to accomplish everyday life activities. This left Nicholas and his 3 siblings being cared for by their mother who was battling an addiction to pain killers. After finding his mother dead at 15 years old due to a drug overdose he spent the rest of his teenage years in the foster care system in New York City. From ages 19 to 24 was spent in and out of various drug programs and numerous arrests. What started as a prescription pill addiction by age 24 turned into heroin and being homeless on the streets of Staten Island. In 2015 after being denied his 7th treatment center that year, he went to go stay with his brother and his family to get off the streets. It was at this point that he met his future wife and her son who was only 1 years old. It was at this moment his entire world changed and he found a sense of happinesses. No job and no money he started selling cars at a local car dealership and never looked back. 8 years later he stands a married man with 3 children and by the grace of god he never went back to that old life.
