The more people say otherwise, the more I prove, again and again, that this is just who I am. Stuck in my ways—an outsider, an outcast, out of my mind, a loser.
It started with my identity. Who I used to be? Lost that. Lost the people who made me feel small, those holding me back—gone. Lost the need to please others. Turns out, I know what’s best for me better than they do.
I lost the things done out of obligation instead of purpose. Lost the wrong metrics I was using to measure success. Those are gone, too.
I even lost my way, so I could find something better. That was hard. Thought I’d lose my mind. But I didn’t. I just lost my old way of thinking—and that’s a win.
Lost yesterday, found tomorrow. Lost scarcity but found abundance. I lost to people who were more talented, better skilled, the ones who outclassed me. They showed me what it takes to win.
I lost my purpose at times, following shiny objects instead of what truly matters. But sometimes, those distractions highlight what is important. I lose my discipline now and then, but regret hurts more, so I push myself to find it again.
I think that’s how it should be.
I hope I lose more tomorrow.
Yeah, I lose a lot. Thank God. 🙏✨️
