Today was Mia’s last competition of the season with her high school dance team! I can’t even begin to describe how impactful this experience has been. The dance team world is very unique and it was definitely overwhelming and scary at first. My girl danced 7 days a week between the dance team and her home studio, missed Friday night football games, juggled a new school and high school coursework. It wasn’t easy, but she never gave up. I’m so proud of her resilience, determination, and dedication. Most of all I’m proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone and challenging herself. @indianhills_danceteam thank you for believing in my girl and giving her a chance. She’s so lucky to be part of such a talented team. To @lauryn__garcia @kailenelaga . I’m forever grateful for you both. You are the epitome of great coaching and mentorship! A day in the city never gets old. First stop: @icandy.nyc. It just recently opened and if you love candy, this is the coolest spot! 4 floors of an immersive candy experience! Dinner @gaylesbroadwayrose where we ate yummy food and were entertained by talented waiters simultaneously. Last top: @chicagomusical to see @whitleavitt. This was Mia’s first time seeing the show! It didn’t disappoint! Love spending time with my girls! #nycadventures #citygirls #winterbreak #broadway
