Thought I'd post a few pics of the finished B-58 Hustler. Regarding the model itself, it is an all hollow molded composite airframe with an 80" long fuselage and 45" wingspan. I'm using @hitecusa servos throughout. Power is from 4x schubeler 69mm edfs with two fans each powered by a single@spektrum_rc 6s 7000mah battery (2packs total on board). Radio system is Spektrum ix20 and 10channel receiver with 2 serial satellite receivers as well. Maiden flight is happening this week, so let's do this! Been a crazy couple of weeks but managed to get this #aerofoam Mb339 from @bananahobbyonline together for a pending maiden flight (hoping this weekend). The model features a 12s powered 105mm edf but is also available with a turbine as well. The #mb339 is a classic straight winged Italian design that should lend itself well for rc flying. The only drawback is the inlet size, but that is mitigated through upper and lower aux air vents for the edf. The model features a higher density epo foam which makes the airframe quite rigid which (needed turbine op) but also helps provide a really nice and smooth finish. At 63" span, it assembles into a nice sized model and that orange really pops! 😊

I finally got a chance to fly the @xflymodel J65 #bizjet from @bananahobbyonline over the weekend. What a sweet looking and flying jet! It's such a great cruiser and is a touch and go machine popping wheelies down the runway. Wind conditions weren't great being a bit bumpy and cross which added to the challenge but the airplane handled it like a champ. The gyro was especially effective in the conditions helping lock it in extremely well. I flew the model with 6s 6250mah and 7000mah packs giving over 4 minutes of flight, especially with the 7000s which I think are my preference in the model.
