So if you are new here, this is your warning that earmuffs should occasionally be applied when little ones are near. It’s not constant but it slips in there every now and again. A solid f-bomb just slaps sometimes. God made me colorful and I’m just living out his design. You know?

I WROTE A BOOK. Still so hard to believe, especially when I think of how it all happened. Over the summer, I had @jessicalynnemediumship come on as a guest for the @thepickingdaisiespod and during it, she gave me a reading. “Pen to paper” kept coming up, as something my grandma kept showing her as being in my future. Jess asked me if I had any plans or was in the middle of writing a book and I wasn’t. Had no thought of even doing so either. But Jess was adamant and added that if I “just became clear” my guide (my grandma) would make it happen. Now being a skeptic in this department, I didn’t think much of this reading. But two weeks later, it was like someone literally hit me over the head and put the entire manuscript/idea there. I came downstairs and wrote the entire poem in less than 15 minutes. Of course, I then had to flush it out and fine-tune it. Six months later we have this: “Hey Little Mama.” A book that you can read to your little ones but really the words are for you, the mother, to hear. I wanted to create a book you could pick up at the end of a long day and read but feel encouraged from. I wanted to create a book you could pass forward to your daughters, daughter-in-laws and other mothers. A book dedicated to all the mothers who have come before and who will come after.
