6 years ago today I released my song “Diaspora” and it changed my life #Diaspora

It’s a song that’s brought me to different communities around the world. Words that have been sung in front of audiences all over the US, in Canada, Australia, South Africa, France, the UK, and of course, Israel. But in the last 6 years, a lot has changed

I’m not the same university student dealing with with antisemitism on a daily basis with his resilient community of young Jews. Two years ago, I made Aliyah, left the Diaspora, and started my life in the Homeland. In many ways, the chapter of my life that inspired this song was closed…

But to this day, on a daily basis I meet someone in person or online who has been touched by my song “Diaspora.” Since October 7th, I’ve gotten an insane number of messages from young Jews outside of Israel telling me that it’s become like an anthem, empowering them to be proud of their connection to the Jewish homeland in the face of levels of antisemitism unprecedented in modern times.

So while I may no longer be in the diaspora, I’ll continue singing this song as long as it is relevant for my brothers and sisters who are yet to come home. I’m happy to announce the release of Diaspora - Remastered to celebrate the 6 year anniversary of the song that changed my life🇮🇱
