I had the privilege of attending the final draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2025.

Set to take place in Qatar from November 3 to 27, the tournament will see Haiti competing in Group E, alongside England, Venezuela and Egypt.

It was a meaningful experience to see the official trophy up close, get a first look at the tournament ball, and briefly speak with Roberto Grassi, FIFA’s Head of Youth Tournaments.

The qualification of our U-17 men’s national team for this global event, right here in Qatar, gives us hope, and reinforces our confidence in the strength of our sporting youth.

A new chapter is being written for Haiti.
