13What a weekend, we decided to race late Monday night and throw a kart together full of spare parts. After not showing great pace Friday we managed to win the pre final Saturday before nose cone penalty demoted me to 5th. We fought a bad set of tires all day Saturday and managed to salvage a 11th Postion in the final.
Sunday we had better pace but the throttle cable broke so we had to start 45th in the Pre final. I was able to come from 45th to 18th. In the final we where able to come up to 5th after starting 18th on track before a nose cone penalty demoted me to 10th overall. Couldn’t be happier with the result considering we decided to race at the last minute, on a old go kart, with no mechanic.. Thank you to everyone who supported me this week, @bnengines @teambenik and @catherineclaman for reminding me Friday you don’t forget to drive and I haven’t lost it. Had a blast and can’t wait to be back soon.

We were running p14 @roadamerica with 9 laps to go when a mechanical issue caused engine power failure. tough break for @dalecoyneracing and the @plugintopaysafe car, losing another good result to bad luck. Big thanks to my team for giving me a great race car. On the bright side, we’ll have a brand new engine for @iowaspeedway 👌
