You have taught me how to be gentle to myself and caring to others. I used to think you were too hard on me but I’m consistently learning that you were preparing me for the world we live in. You taught me that it is not about how I’m treated by others but how to treat them back with love regardless.

In a society that tries to undermine the value of mothers, it is more important than ever to acknowledge their importance and true place as leaders in the world.
