My students and athletes call me Professor, and it’s a title that I take very seriously. They trust in me, and my system. They believe I will guide them down the correct path, and I try my best to ensure I do. When people see me talk to my athletes, they often think I’m too harsh or not empathetic enough. What they fail to realize is how much it hurts me at times when they fall short. I can make them feel better with lies or tell them the truth. The truth, although painful, makes us better, and for them to evolve, they have to face it. This is what it means to be champion-minded. It’s not ju
