Six or seven years ago, when I first entered the industry, there were very few creatives in the fashion landscape, especially when it came to visuals. To have emerged and been at the forefront of this new, futuristic movement and watch it evolve over the years has been incredibly fulfilling. It’s exciting to see young creatives now competing at a global level, alongside talent from the North, East, and West.

I truly believe the time has come for our work to be recognized as part of the broader diaspora — not just a select few, but as a powerful collective of African fashion creatives competing on the world stage.
