Derrick Gee doesn’t call himself a critic, he calls himself a “professional music fan.” In just two years, the Sydney-based creator has gone from sharing playlists to interviewing Lorde, Jamie xx, and St. Vincent in his home studio. This June, he took his love of deep cuts on a four-city European tour: part music talk show, part listening session.
