I’m honored to have my work and accomplishments recognized at the National Museum of African American Music. This lobby exhibit showcases my Grammy-winning work and my trusty drum machine (MPC 2000XL), but it also represents my commitment to the community. As an adjunct professor at MTSU and a philanthropist with a scholarship in my name, I believe in investing in the future and lifting others up. This recognition is a testament to the power of hard work, humility, and a focus on giving back.

While the accolades are nice, what I’m most grateful for is the long-term impact and connection I’ve built with my supporters and collaborators. It’s not about arrogance or chasing fame - it’s about putting in the work, staying humble, and trusting that the rewards will come in due time. For me, I believe that the greatest rewards come from God, and that’s what I try to keep front and center. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way!
