Community Champion, Girls Athletic Leadership School Los Angeles (GALS LA) is a public charter school in in Van Nuys that focuses on a student-centered curriculum. Through GALS LA RISE program which is a school-based soccer and wellness initiative, they engage middle school girls of color in structured soccer participation to provide social-emotional development support.
