☟GRAB MY SOLO TRAVEL EBOOK

(STORY TIME)
This past week I took my first ever solo roadtrip. As a full-time female solo traveler, you guys probably think I never get nervous to solo travel at this point …. But I do! I still get nerves every time, and a roadtrip solo always intimidated me..
So I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and finally do it (especially since in a month I’m turning my car in and won’t get the opportunity again for awhile) so I thought it’s the perfect time! 😅
I don’t know what I was scared of.. maybe being alone in the car with my thoughts? Getting bored? But of course, the second I started driving all of my fears went out the window. I actually ended up really enjoying driving alone! I finally had time to talk with friends and family, listen to podcasts and find new music!
I stayed at the cutest A-frame cabin located in the mountains of Virginia and loved getting away from the city for a few days! I also took out my new @llbean inflatable SUP for the first time and found my new favorite activity 😍
All in all, I don’t know what I was scared of. I had a great time on my first solo roadtrip, doing some of my favorite things and learning more about myself 🥹
So here’s your sign to do something for yourself or push yourself out or your comfort zone this week ❤️

I’ve been holding on to these photos from Peru and just really wanted to share them 😂 So here they are & also amazing places that you have to visit while in the beautiful country of Peru! (In order of the photos)👇
🏞 Lake Humantay
(To visit you have to book with a tour guide. We booked through @getyourguide which was $30/person for breakfast, lunch, tour guide, and transfers from Cusco)
🌵Huacachina
(To visit this desert oasis I would recommend renting a car and driving from Lima, also I would stay overnight in Ica then taking a tuktuk from Ica to Huacachina)
⛰ Machu Picchu
(Duhhh, an absolute must, I would recommend spending the night in Ollantaytambo before, take @perurail from there to Aguas Calientes then the bus from there to Machu Picchu entrance - or you can hike the Inca Trail!)
🏢 San Blas, Cusco
(My favorite and most quaint neighborhood in Cusco, I would recommend spending at least one night here)
🏙 Miraflores
(The best part of Lima, in my opinion, if you are going to spending any time in Lima I would recommend it being here!)
🐧 Paracas Nature Reserve
(To get here I would recommend renting a car and driving from Lima, it makes for the perfect stop before visit Huacachina)
⛰ Ollantaytambo
(Where I recommend spending the night before visit Machu Picchu, it’s also very beautiful and located within the Sacred Valley with unique Incan ruins)

I thought I would introduce myself since it’s been a while!
So, hello! I’m Savanna and I’m a full time solo traveler and content creator! I was born in Minneapolis, MN but am currently based out of Washington, DC. I created this account really as a passion project (started with just showcasing my photography) and it’s grown into my career 🥹 I love showcasing my solo travels around the world, giving solo travel tips to help you get out there, and sharing my favorite places!
Some places I’ve been this year have been Panama (just got back), the UK, Malta, Belgium, Iceland, Dominica, Mexico, and all over the US! My favorite place I’ve been to this year is probably Iceland since it’s so different and has been on my bucketlist for awhile now! But I’m currently in the works planning what might be my biggest (solo) trip yet 🤭 (also i’m currently planning a group trip so we can travel together!!)
Some random facts about me include: I’ve been vegetarian for over 6 (or 7?) years, my happy place is the Bahamas - our home got destroyed in 2019 but we’re currently re-building it, and I played division 1 tennis in college!
If you’ve made it this far.. hello and welcome. Nice to meet you (or re-meet you) 🤗 Tell me in the comments what your favorite place you’ve traveled to this year has been! 🤔
