After a traumatic fall in practice late last year led to emergency brain surgery, Estonian figure skater SolΓ¨ne Mazingue made an incredible recovery to compete in this week's World Figure Skating Championships. β

SolΓ¨ne, partnered in ice dance by Marko Jevgeni Gaidajenko, documented her rehabilitation in detail on her social media.β

Speaking after their rhythm dance skate in Japan, she said: "I started social media to show the world that anything is possible and if you believe in yourself and don't give up, you can do it. I made it in five months to be here at the World Championships. I just want to give everyone hope, even if it's a small injury or whatever, a problem in your life, anything is possible. If you have a goal in your life, you can make it for sure."β

We opened this Go Fund Me account to help us continue to pay for training and ice time at the Montreal Academy. Over the next few days, weeks and months, we will need to continue my rehabilitation.
