We sat down with him one-on-one in an exclusive interview for @therichreporter magazine’s Summer/Fall issue, where he spoke about when he first realized the UFC would become as big as it is, why he believes Power Slap will ultimately be bigger than the UFC, why he doesn’t care what others think, and a ton more. His story is one of obsession, grit, and an almost pathological refusal to quit.

From the start of our conversation, it was clear from his cadence, tone, and body language that he’s always in fight mode. Long before UFC was a household name, Dana was consumed by the fight business. He was driven by hunger and a love for the game that still fuels him today.

The sacrifices during those early years weren’t small. Dana lived with instability, worked odd jobs, and invested time and energy in what many would have called a foolish pursuit. He vividly recalled closing their first major deal not in a polished office, but scribbled on a napkin in a back alley with Spike TV, which paved the way for The Ultimate Fighter finale watched by millions and forever etched into MMA history.
