Motherhood is often romanticized as a shared journey, but for many, including myself, it can be a path walked alone. As a single mother raising my son, I faced profound challenges filled with sleepless nights and moments of self-doubt. Yet, amid the struggles, I discovered an inner strength I never knew I had.
Determined to support us both, I pursued my dream of building a modeling career while building out my social media. Balancing running @krmediamentor and photo shoots with parenting was daunting, but I embraced every opportunity. I aimed to redefine beauty standards, showcasing that motherhood does not diminish worth or desirability. I wanted to represent women like me, proving that dreams can be pursued despite adversity.
As I progressed in my career, I recognized a greater purpose: to empower other women and families facing similar challenges. This realization led me to create my mission brand, Kourtney Kares. The brand embodies my commitment to supporting single mothers and families navigating life's hurdles while also emphasizing the importance of nurturing our environment. Through Kourtney Kares, I provide resources, workshops, and a community where women can share their stories, find encouragement, and access tools to thrive.
